Our Story
Welcome to our farm, we're Marianne and JR!
After years of Sydney’s hustle and bustle, the dream of going back to the country lifestyle that we grew up in began to take shape.
The Hunter Valley has always held a special place in our hearts as it was at St. Michael's in Wollombi where we spoke our marriage vows.
In 2019, we made that dream a reality and found our own piece of paradise in Broke, Hunter Valley.
First Of It's Kind
To be sustainable, we explored how we could complement Broke’s picturesque landscapes and boutique vineyards with a unique addition of our own.
Taking inspiration from our honeymoon trip in Provence, France and our shared fondness for lavender, we decided to build Hunter Lavender Farm – the first of its kind in the Hunter Valley.
Where To Next?
We have a lot of exciting farm projects coming up! This coming summer, we will re-open the farm for the 3rd season to visitors for day tours, events and photography sessions.
Over the next five years, we will continue to invest in building facilities such as a farm shop and café so we can enhance the farm experience of our visitors.
