If you've ever dreamt of running through a field of lovely purple lavender, lavender farms in NSW are definitely a thing and are open to the public!

Peak lavender season in NSW is usually from December to January when they are in full glorious bloom. If you're keen to peruse the purple blooms before then, some lavender farms get ready for the lavender season in November, and some farms are open all year round! 

1. Hunter Lavender Farm

Just a couple of hours outside of Sydney in the picturesque Hunter Valley Region, Hunter Lavender Farm is one of the newer farms in NSW growing glorious lavender bushes.

Hunter Lavender Farm opened its doors in 2022 and has already attracted quite a loyal following of lavender lovers who can't get enough of their organic lavender products and tours of their stunning fields.  

The farm is officially reopening for the lavender season on 14 December 2024, when you can run through the lavender fields to your heart's content. Bookings are essential.
